How does the placement of that massive GP pouch work for you? It seems to me as though it would bounce around a good deal while you are running, and would prevent you from fully bending at the waist.

It works great. Its not attached to my vest at all, but sits on a surplus pistol belt. I keep it tight enough to sit the pouch up against the bottom of my vest, and it doesn't bounce at all. Crouching is no problem, but sitting on chairs is slightly uncomfortable. Only issue, is, ya'know, having a fanny pack.

Aw, fanny packs. Love mine. Decided to run ALICE for awhile without sweating my balls off, and the pack carries all my shit for long scenarios.

Alice gear is completely underrated, in my opinion.

I agree. I used ALICE gear for YEARS, and even now, I still have an ALICE IFAK on my PC. It's just a good little pouch since it has that hard insert, great to keep money, cell phone, keys, and what not in so they dont get wet/crushed.
And I still use an ALICE belt as well, for safariland and dump pouch.

Well, I've completly put the PC off. Im using a Y-Harness, Pistol belt, some borrowed Mag Pouches, and my Fanny pack. I have a Camelback hydration carrier in woodland that is worn like a school bag. I like it because I don't feel like Im laying on my gear, I can crawl my fat ass around without destroying it, and it's very easily removable. Easy.

Nope, 68 rounders, the fuax bullets are visible in one mag in the dump pouch. Just added two more singles on each side of the hydration carrier. Placed upside down for easy reach-around access.

If the shooting glasses aren't allowed, I'll just use the Flakjaks. I know the kit looks like a gulf impression, but that's just how it turned out.

At Nesh, we do our best to preserve safety. Shooting glasses allow you to do that "Quick pull off" without too much hassle. So please, use the flakjaks and anti-fog them. Also, The knife is ok. I'm pretty sure you know better than to actually stab someone. Fortunately, it doesn't need to be said yet......Glares at Tom, lol.
Nice Loadout! I can't stand helmet's myself personally, But it fits everything. What you really need, is a Real Steel PASGT. Is that a Ghillie Suit hanging in the back???

Okay. I cut a little bit of the foam off the sides of the flakjaks and now they NEVER fog, are they still allowed? I can get a pic if you want.
Thanks! The store I bought the helmet from had real PASGTs too, but I didn't buy one because I tried them both one and the replica was a lot mooe comfortable. It has foam on the inside as opposed to the band that goes around your head on the real one. It's not a ghillie suit, it's just a camo net I have going over my bed. I have a bunch of burlap lying around and I may be making one though.
A little unrelated, but how well does DCU work at Nesh? I have a set of DCU and woodland at the moment, so I want to know what works better.

I know what FlakJak's are. And there are ways to anti-fog without removing your foam. My ESS's don't fog at all. EDIT: I'll just tell you what i do. Cut a piece of bar soap off the corner, and spread it all over the inside of your lense. After it is fully spread, take A SMALL AMOUNT OF WATER and gently buff the whole lense with a cloth rag until all the streaks are very small. Over time, your glasses will lose the streaks only visible when they're on, and your goggles won't fog.
The DCU might be ok during the fall? Never tried it. Woodland works great there mostly year round. When there is snow on the ground, or no foliage, is when there is an issue. But usually it's too cold to play comfortably.

I already did the foam mod, so I guess it's too late now. I had tried some Extreme Rage anti fog stuff, and it was complete crap. Most of the time it just made the goggles fog even more easily. I'll try the soap thing on my SG1s, they fog really bad as they are now. How small is a "small amount of water"? a drop or so?

I removed the vents on the top and bottom of the goggles on mine. the holes are large enough for bb's to seep in, but at that angle its extremely unlikely. Never fog on me.
