Because it is awesome, that is why. Nice looking gun.

I can't find the review on the G&G that I read when I considered it before choosing the VSR, but the writer compared it's quality to Maruzens K98 (I think). He felt it was just as well built and performed very nicely. I chose not to get a K98 because all the scope mounts I found were real steel surplus stuff ...I wasn't sure how that would work with the airsoft versions. The writer did say something to the effect that the rifle was so accurate with the iron sights that the low capacity magazine wasn't a factor.
