Hello, My name is Gravy and I am addicted to Airsoft. I have played every Sunday for the last few months. I am originally from Northeast Philadelphia and now live in Yokohama Japan. I started shooting out in Fresno, CA, but I did not start really playing until I got to Japan. Airsoft is huge over here and games are great, haven’t been upset by a field yet (played 8 different fields) and participation has never been less than 80 players. If anyone needs any information about anything “Airsoft( or like the Japanese like to call it “Survival Game”) from the place that originated the sport, let me know. Well I may be coming back to the Philadelphia area and I’m here to assist in the promotion of this great sport and hobby. Take care, Gravy

I'm curious....how strictly is the 0.98j limit enforced in outdoor games?
If it is, how does that affect gameplay?

Have you played in Tokyo Marui's indoor arena? That place looks like it would be a dream to play at.
Oh, and welcome to the forum!

ManOwaR, Yes the 0.98j limit is strictly enforced over here. I was able to tune my M4 to 290 FPS, which equates to a 0.97j with .25 gram BBs. As far as how is affects game play, of course your engagement distance is shorter but everyone is restricted so that’s a plus. The Japanese take their hobbies really serious. It is really an awesome sight to see players show up to a game with about 10 grand worth of gear and guns. BumbleCrap, I have not played Tokyo Marui's indoor arena due to my lack of a nice CQB weapon. I guess I have an excuse to get one now. I need to find out the schedule for the facility. Ill update you and write a review after I play there. Here is a list of the field that I have been playing at. If anyone visits Japan, let me know and I’ll suit you out and provide free transportation. I'm also sort of curious, since FPS is limited so strictly, do people tend to push their ROF as high as it can possibly go?

M-Dot, The store that I shop at is Echigoya. There is one located here in Yokohama and there is also a larger store in Tokyo. I will ask them about shipping to the states or we can work something out and I will mail it for you. As far as hit calling, I've played about 20 times over here and only had an encounter with 1 zombie. He eventually called his hit when I practically shot his face off. Besides that 1 time, everyone is very honest. The forum that I'm on over here is TKOverkill.com
ManOwaR, That is exactly the case; guns over here are really tuned up.
