Hi everyone, my name is Sean and I'm 16 and a junior in high school. I live in Yardley (about 40 minutes outside Philly).
Recently I've been wanting to do something outdoors in addition to soccer and swimming. I am a really big fan of Laser Tag and Counter Strike, so I first looked up paintball, which I didn't really like. Then one day I stumbled upon one of scoutthedoggie's videos and I instantly liked the tactical style that airsoft displayed.
So far I am still in the process of picking out an airsoft AEG (I'm interested in Airsoft GI's G4 line). I have a job, so money won't be a concern, but convincing my parents to sign the UPS receipt will be another story. Both of them come from violent backgrounds (my dad had a violent father and my mom fled Vietnam when she was just 13) and they might not latch onto the concept of airsoft, but I'll try my best to convince them that it's a great, sociable sport.
I also think I might have an unfair advantage on the field since I'm pretty short (5' 3''), which will make me harder to hit.
We'll just have to see when I come to one of your games!
