Hey guys, im going to be playing at most fields every weekend and was wondering if i could use my 500-550 fps dmr? this fits into the sniper category as it shoots semi

Most places wont allow anything over 500fps on the field, and usually anything about 400-450 has a 75-100 foot minimum engagement rule.

OXCC down at Maapr.com supposedly allows up to 650 though, 125 minimum engagement.

You got the semi-auto thing right though.

full auto function is removed, i use .30 g bbs, so i shoot about 400-450, its 500-550 with .2s

Yeah it would fall under a sniper rifle at the quarry but you would have a high med which I would have to double check on since I'm not sure we have anyone else with something shooting that high. But yes.

well i have a pistol for cqb, and i might get an mp5k for backup, but when i played my med was 100ft

okami .....I wouldn't let it deter you from using it. If you're practicing a safe engagement distance it'll be fine. Some stock sniper rifles shoot 450+ out of the box with .2's ...add a heavier BB and you're nearing 400 fps which is far from a "hot weapon". I say use it with common sense and you'll be fine ....it's rare that a pick-up game chrono's weapons before they start.

well im using .30s not .2's, i know my med (s) as i use it here, so im shooting about 400fps with .3
