Liking the holes for ventalation. Good idea. I hear you about bumping your head. Drove a tree limb into my balding head at The Warzone. Got the scars to prove it. Nasty. Sometimes a Boony hat does not cut it.

I hear you Keeper. I hit my head off of EVERYTHING so its very useful for me to wear one and not to mention it looks pretty cool too.

somebody earlier mentioned people who are really in to mil-sim are the only ones who need a helmet. being one of those, i can tell you sometimes it comes in handy for more than just looking the part. my loadout is 1960's, early vietnam era equipment, including the ol' m-1 steel pot helmet. playing at the chemplant once i slipped on some old bbs rolling around on the floor and landed squarely on my upper back/head. had it not been for the helmet i'm sure ii would have been at least a mild concussion.

Price tag on that Bump might keep some people away, but lower price Replica's still might do the trick. Any protection sometimes is good protection.

You can still get a real Ops Core for a much cheaper price tag. I wanted the BUMP but the price was just too far out of my price range and then the Base Jump came along and at $240 it was MUCH more reasonable so I jumped on it and havent looked back. Its not as durable as the BUMPs carbon fiber shell but its still very strong and solid as a rock. Here is the linkage http://www.tnvc.com/shop/ops-core-fast-base-jump-shell/
