Liking the holes for ventalation. Good idea. I hear you about bumping your head. Drove a tree limb into my balding head at The Warzone. Got the scars to prove it. Nasty. Sometimes a Boony hat does not cut it.

I hear you Keeper. I hit my head off of EVERYTHING so its very useful for me to wear one and not to mention it looks pretty cool too.

I really like the bump cause it is only about a lb in weight my AKA2 nvg arm weighs more then the helmet. I normally wear a ball cap to woodland games but since op northern light is coming up I have been wearing this alot to get used to wearing it with pvs14s and a camera. I hate the fake Ops Core helmets they are heavier then the real thing by like a lb and a half to two lbs. I just am toooo old for those stupid head injuries lol. Plus its phucking tacticool as hell.

somebody earlier mentioned people who are really in to mil-sim are the only ones who need a helmet. being one of those, i can tell you sometimes it comes in handy for more than just looking the part. my loadout is 1960's, early vietnam era equipment, including the ol' m-1 steel pot helmet. playing at the chemplant once i slipped on some old bbs rolling around on the floor and landed squarely on my upper back/head. had it not been for the helmet i'm sure ii would have been at least a mild concussion.

I have heard that too. I was military for 11 years so a bucket isnt that hard to wear. My favorite is the uber mil simers that wear full armor and a ball cap. I originally got the bump for range and magpulish classes since it was 600 bucks that wat I can justify it for playing around in. Any type of head protection is needed for indoor ops. Hell thats the main reason the helmet I use was made for non ballistic vehicular use and training purposes. So why not use one.

Price tag on that Bump might keep some people away, but lower price Replica's still might do the trick. Any protection sometimes is good protection. ;)

You can still get a real Ops Core for a much cheaper price tag. I wanted the BUMP but the price was just too far out of my price range and then the Base Jump came along and at $240 it was MUCH more reasonable so I jumped on it and havent looked back. Its not as durable as the BUMPs carbon fiber shell but its still very strong and solid as a rock. Here is the linkage http://www.tnvc.com/shop/ops-core-fast-base-jump-shell/

Yeah a teammate has one its great for the price as stated above impact resistance is lower as well as some tolerances only other gripe is the nvg mount is cut odd so the swing arms wobble and crap when mounted, other then that great helmets if you want one and cant get a bump
