1. Be respectful to other forum members. This is the first rule because it is the most important. Do not post ignorant, hateful, racist, sexist, or derogatory remarks of any kind. If there is ever a question of whether or not a comment is appropriate, remember the teachings of Our Lord The Most High - Don't Be A Dick.

2. Do not start flame wars. This forum is intended for the discussion of airsoft and airsoft-related topics, not for having arguments with random strangers over the Internet. If you must, limit your arguments to Private Messages or exchange messager information with each other; however, remember that Rule 1 still applies to PMs.

3. Do not spam the board. If you have something to say on a subject, by all means contribute to the discussion. However, if you DON'T have anything to say on a subject, then don't bother. Posting single-word responses just to increase your post count clutters the board and leads to worse problems.

4. Stay on topic. The Original Poster will not appreciate your tirade on the state of airsoft legislation right in the middle of his AEG sale thread. If you have something to say unrelated to the topic you're reading, then by all means create a new thread. This isn't to say that topics can't get a bit derailed - it happens. Just don't do it intentionally.

5. Don't post about anything illegal. This should be obvious, but if you've done something you shouldn't have... we don't want or need to hear about it. This includes - but is not limited to - discussions on ilegally modifying firearms or airsoft guns, pirating software, links to sites that minors can't legally view, etc. Speaking of which...

6. Don't post porn. Many of our members are minors whos heads would explode if they saw such things, so respect the wishes of their parents and provide a safe environment to discuss a safe hobby with safe people. On that note, don't post anything that is Not Safe For Work without a link warning as much.

Thanks- but I'm pretty clueless- I am actually looking for field for my "boys" to play at- 2 are 14, 2 are 20 and the biggest one is 47...anyway they got new guns and although there's plenty of open space... we live near Valley Forge Park- I worry about some wacko taking them out even though their guns haven't been altered - they tried to do that- but i told them it wasn't legal- Anyhelp- would appreciate- neurotic mom- KOP- Cindy

Cindy: Hi, welcome to the forums. You don't have a lot to worry about as long as they are smart in their actions.
Altering their guns isn't illegal, and it's very uncommon to come across airsoft guns that aren't upgraded to modified in some way. It's not required though.

It's rare to come across fields that are "public" in a matter of words. Most airsoft skirmishes are done on 'sanctioned' fields, which aren't specifically for airsoft, but the owner of the land has given permission to a specific group of players to use it to play without the risk of police intervention. Our main field has been used by people to play both airsoft and paintball for many years now, and is completely safe.

We don't have age restrictions, so 14 - 47 is fine. We just have maturity restrictions. No one plays without eye protection. We have a few simple, easy to follow rules. The rules are only in place for the safety of each other, and to maintain a fun game. Those who break the rules are warned. Repeated offenders are barred from our fields and games. We rarely have to do this though. Groups of people to play airsoft with, and fields to use, are hard to come by. Usually when people find one, they don't risk being banned from it.

If you have any questions feel free to ask. We are very parent-friendly. Every once in a while we even have parents who come and sit in the safe area to watch, or bring video cameras, and we often have father-son groups who come out to play.

No need to worry though. Safety comes first with us, always.

hahah I LOVE THIS..... Anyway let me introduce myself I am ProjectRaven as you can so cleverly tell by my Forum info, But besides that Fact, I am an avid player of Airsoft, I am 21 years of age and have a small yet growing crew of guys and gals who are wanted to play with other players, So far out of my team The Philadelphia FoxHounds, I currently the most armed/prepared I currently have 4 active weapons in all types of groups ranging from Sniper Rifles to Assault Rifles and even a Revolver, Currently we train and practice in my backyard of my Philadelphia Home. As for more info I will be posting it in another part of the Forum since this isn't the time nor the right place to post it.

To wrap things up I look forward to playing along and against you all, I have just informed my team of the goldmine I just struck Talk to everyone later

hey we are always looking for new people. our numbers are growing. maybe alittle to fast but its ok. we have/had people of all ages, and as long as they are out for fun without lessining the integrity of the game it works out. weve got 14 year olds play too much COD and older guys whove done it for real. we accept everyone. just dont ruin the game. that makes us angry. and you wouldnt like us when we are angry. nah just kidding. kinda
