After signing up for the forums i've noticed they've been slower then most forums i've been on and sometimes I get "Overload" messages when trying to get on... I know its not Google Chrome (What I am using) because I tried it on other browsers (highly doubt it my computer speed/internet speed). Also tried it at other houses and such and they are slow.
Idk what you could do besides removing a few pointless things (Maybe like the Arcade) or something of that effect. Its not a major problem but it is annoying when trying to log in and I have to wait a minute.

Yea, I know phpBB goes down sometimes but i've been on other ones and they seemed to be ok, fast. Maybe its your domain/web space hoster (space and such) but Idk..

PhpBB is just the scripting language that the bulletin board was written in and has little to do with forum stability. Typically if I get that overload message, the page comes up after waiting a few seconds and refreshing.

Its the host, softlayer.com this is probably on a dedicated or in worst case shared box with 100's of other sites, contact your provider be it a guy u know or softlayer.com and complain about performance, I work for a hosting company and this does not get even close to the ammount of traffic to be performing like this. It may however be the phpbb junk also.

I've never had an issue with slow loads or overload.

Yeah, they tend to disappear when you refresh. It's not a problem at all to me, especially since I'm on other websites when I'm on this one, so I just switch back and forth.

Overload doesn't bother me too much. Its just being slow that does.
Right now its superfast. I click something loads instantly other times it will take 30-1minute to load. Which is too long for the speed of my computer/internet.
