What do you guys think of a field rotation? Meaning we play at a designated field from the list: The Warzone,The Badlands,Chem Plant(warehouse) ,Nesh,Crossroads(evergreen) and The Quarry. And yes I did not put any you have to pay for like Grid Code or Godfather etc.We do not have control over them. This is to give everyone the chance to play at every field we use on this forum. Also it changes fields every weekend.Saturday or Sunday. This will give the new guys and some vets that haven't been to every field the chance to.This also should boost turnouts. So post and tell us your thoughts.

I was thinking about that as well. We should also set up a ride share forum if we do that since not all of us have transportation. I think it will get a lot more people out there especially when the weather gets better.

Some of us do that now as far as the rides go.

Yeah but I still see people posting how they would have gone if they had a ride. That's why I won't make it to any of the games in Philly cause I have a suspended license.

I dig both ideas. If theres more support for the ride share thing, I'll ask Rapid to set it up.

yeah good idea every field will be used and it will stop from two games going on at the same time and dividing the number of possible players.

Interesting idea. Trying to do the same up here with the 4 local fields, but little or no interest. Bummer too as we end up splitting up the players between all the fields.

I'd say we do it. Why split all the people. I hear constant bitching about turnouts but no one seems to have intrest in a field rotation. Think about the time that you saw this but didn't comment on it before complaining the next time you play with 4 people.

I will put the Warzone in rotation sometime in May.Looking to open up the field somemore.A better field experience will be on display.Who is speaking for Nesh,Crossroads and The Badlands? We know who speaks for KOP and The Quarry. We need to get the ball rolling people so spread the word.

This sounds amazing. But yeah, from what most people are saying. Getting there seems to be the biggest factor..what I normally do, if I don't have the car is get dropped off somewhere where the people in my area can all meet up without a problem and either take one or two cars depending on who can drive or not. Also, if you throw in a couple bucks in then I'm sure they'll definitely take whoever they can carpool with. Worth a shot. It's what we do, and it seems to work.

Mike I'm just talking about non-paying fields we use.We have no control over or any say so on the ones you pay to play on.

Here is a thought...and I am just throwing it out there. People kick in a Buck when they play and you can get some Water (Hydration is important!) for at the fields. Keep a running total and someone picks up water for each time at the particular field you are at.

I definitely support this idea. The only problem I see is what if some of the people who come to the games just show up to the 1 field at the same time every week? Are there people like that out here, cause I see a lot more people at the games than are on this forum..?
Anyway yea, sounds good.

Good point.Word of mouth and players exchanging #'s would cut that problem out.Besides most of the main players on the forum bring people who are not on the forum with them.If we all stick to the rotation it should go as planned.

I want to start using to rotation by next week.I want to go to the Quarry this weekend so we know more about the field. The Warzone will not be ready until May.I've heard nothing about HB's field The Badlands yet.Crossroads(Bensalem) we need to find out about parking and what's up with the neighbors. As of now we might have 4 fields after this week that we can put into rotation. That's Chem Plant(KOP),Nesh,The Quarry and Crossroads(Bensalem).Grayman will be putting the rotation on the calendar for all to see.

The Badlands is pretty unusable from April to October ...it's solid weeds and 6 foot high grass ....unless someone has a Bulldozer.

Sort of gives whole new meaning to 'seek & destroy', eh?

Friday night machete party followed by an airsoft game on Saturday. Do I have to think of everything?

That's a lot of work. Ok,who is speaking for Crossroads(Bensalem)? We need to know about the neighbors and the parking asap.

The Badlands is about 30 acres ...that's a lot of choppin ...just the upper berm plateau is larger than most fields. The small section along the rail lines where the practice course was is playable for a 10-20 person group ...more than that and the game goes into the tall grass fields.
