is there anything that can be done? we don't need the whole field to play. im willing to put in a few hours to make that field a practical team home field. it would be nice to even hear anything about a game there, because i never have. EDIT: @ M-DOT: who runs the crossroads? who has the ability to speak for it? and when we talked to that lady she said we can park along the sides of the houses just not in their parking lot. did they ever get flyers put up? or did everyone just stop caring about that field altogether? if so then let a team take control of that field *cough*....215....*cough* or any established team for that matter. the field pretty much keeps itself so its not like you have to build stuff in it.

It's really dense tall grass ...it's probably decent right now after all the snow this winter ...but once that grass grows it's almost hard to just walk through it. There was an Op and HB hosted 2 training days there last year that no one attended but AWSMA and some NJ team came out ....like 12 of us maybe. It's HB's field and it seems as if no one ever wants to go so they don't bother hosting games that no one comes to. We're going to do some work on the field ...dig out the trails and work on the berm trench ....but it's a lot of work for no one to show up.

That's why I'm pushing the field rotation. With the rotation in place that will no longer be an issue. You can hold an Op or just a game on that field on that day.Looking for a big turnout for a field would be a thing of the past.If we all agree...this will be a great season for airsoft.

The field rotation idea is a really good one HB is currently building the Badlands and will continue until our field meets our satisfaction.until then we are not hosting any games. But we will be glad to travel out to other fields to play

Maybe if there's a smaller crowd we can hold some basic games along the rail line until rest of the field is ready ...just a thought.

Ok,every field has been spoken for except Crossroads(Bensalem). After next weekend the fields that are ready will be in rotation. We need more info for Crossroads. So spread the word and tell them to post.I'll try on facebook again.I do have another field to add but it is in Aberdeen Maryland where we play our night games on Saturday. We use flash flickers smoke bombs the whole nine. It's from 7pm until.

@ M-DOT just throw crossroads into the rotation. im sure they wouldnt mind huge turnouts and it seems like they go as a group. so if they dont want to go to different fields let them go like they usually do and every once in a while we will all go. they arent on this fourm often anyway. kind of complicated but im sue someone will understand. its like this. if they go as a group and only want to go to that field let them. but when their field comes up in the rotation we will all go. its not like were not allowed there.

Yeah the field rotation idea is a good one. @ Steve i've been to the badlands, it's pretty awesome. The terrain is a whole different setup than most fields. It's mostly grassland and most of the trees are on the side. I think that with a little work, it could be a more attended to field.

how close to this rail line are we talkin? and what rail line? the railroads take trespassers very seriously.

The rail line is 20 yards from the field boundary ....down a cliff about 20 feet ...it's not something you'll stumble upon unexpectedly ....and the players will be far enough away to avoid any interaction from Transit Police

Ok folks ....we're all in agreement about a field rotation so we can keep games fresh and make sure everyone can be involved as much as possible. Some players can't make it to every field and we are working on a system so all fields will be used and players get a fair share of field time. Please give us some time to work out the specifics and we'll get it going ASAP.
