Dont. Tenergy is garbage, both in battery and charger. They are known to have lower mAh rates and generally just be crappy batteries. Only reason they are so big is because they have contracts with some gun companies to include their batteries with the purchase of the gun.

Get Thunder AC6 Charger, its one of the best on the market for the money, and will properly balance and charge any type battery you can connect to it. It goes by a few different names (re-branding) but most people I know that use it have been using it for a few years and have had no complaints at all about them.

Another great charger:

IMAX B6 LiPro Balance Charger

Its sold out right now, but call them up and see when more are coming in or search around to find it some where else.

Tenergy is indeed crap. All my old Tenergy batteries killed themselves after only short use.

I have been hitting some hobby sites and finding cheaper packs for my guns. Decent quality and the only 'gotcha' is the ends. I can either put my own ends on or I use a Bullet to Tamiya converter. I have Large & Small End ones. This way I can use them in different guns.

We got in The IMAX the other day. It is nice. The Instruction manual is all in engrish. It doesn't however come with a Deans connector.

Let me know how that works.I was going to get the Imax but they were out of stock.I'm going with the Thunder AC6 for $54.95. I'll be ordering from xheli.com.I did a hell of a lot of digging when they told me about this charger.

Thunder AC6 works great for any type of battery you have. Best bang for the buck I have seen so far. Charging my Lipos with the Bullet connectors is a dream as it has ends for that too!

The Imax has a fast charge application. It balances and, times the required amount of charge needed...just like a regular smart charger. It's also metal all around. There is apparently a USB connection and from there you can change some of the preferences, such as Beep's and whatnot.

Best part about it, in my opinion, is that it allows you to charge PB, NiMH, NiCD, LiPO, and several others. I gotta go look.

It's the same with the Thunder AC6.I guess you can't go wrong with both.
