So there has been some talk about hosting an op up our way. How much interest is there in this? Also what would you like to see at an op? What kind of games or missions would you want. If there is an interest in this we would be aiming for January. Even if you don't plan on attending we would still like to hear what you have to say for suggestions.

First thing we would need is a map of the field.I say this because we need to know boundaries and how much space we have to work with. Also the weather would play a major part.I also say a simple 3 stage game as far as objectives to be done.

The map can be done, rain dates can be arranged if it storms. What do you mean by three stages?

I hope this would be for the Quarry. That would be a fantastic place for it!!

As far as the objectives go.Stage 1 seek and obtain a package or just complete a task or two.The second would be to hold a postion where your package was and not let it or your package be taken from you.Last stage would be a siege on your opponents base.Either your leader taken or your opponents being wiped out.Medics would be limited to a number...say two or three.Bleedout if you can not be gotten to in five mins. Then you will have to go back to your respawn point. But the field must be set up for an Op.That is the most important part.

What would be priorities for set up? (Besides objectives and props)

The map is half and the other would be paths to main objectives and landmarks for the use of the maps. This also would make it safer for players. One more thing...refs that know the game.

Points might be the way to go too. Example is an item brought back to a set location is a certain point value, but capturing the Other Teams Commander as a hostage would be another set point value. Have Main Objectives and some side objective which could be completed and still add up for points.
Keep track at each phase on a board so the teams could see how each one is doing. I can send you an example of our point value objectives from the OP: AGGRESSIVE NEGOTIATIONS if you want.

I can def see one at the Quarry, don't know about the Chem plant though considering there has never been an official approval to play there. Whatever the plan is I'm in.

The chem plant isn't very good for large numbers. So it would be the quarry.

Larger location will generate interest from all over!

I would suggest against January. We did some things in deep winter at nesh, and ghost will tell you, we were more then just cold. Batteries died way to fast. Plus the cold weather meant our turnout was shitty. January bad, march or april good.

Oh yea. Medic rule. Its gotta be clear. Find some way to get that message out. Just posting it on the forum doesn't get the message across. Maybe find someone to demonstrate on game day.

Set number of banages in the Field, Bleed-out times and the like. The medic rules work if people know exactly HOW they work.
