Great day for airsoft with a good size turn out. Weather wasn't too cold nor too hot. We had close to 40 players show up to play today plus Full Auto Airsoft was set up selling guns, gear and bbs. We had about 15 new faces to the quarry today too. Game started a little late around 12:45 due to late comers and getting gear ready. We played till right around 18:00.

Full Auto Airsoft was another big hit today. There were people hanging around the table all day threw out the day. Don't know if they were buying things, wishing they were buying things or just chatting up John but there was always a crowd there threw out the day. I even ended up dropping a couple hundred on them.

As for the first match up it was between the new guys and the "field veterens." It was right around 15 on 15 with the new guys defending the ridge line spawnless and like 15 attackers with 2 spawns. It was about a 20 min long game until the new guys started losing ground. Once this happend the game was pretty much over since they were losing ground on all sides at once.

We then played a couple field games one of them includding the Recon Sniper game. That was a good long game lasting almost an hour or so with two snipers, a rescue team of 13, about 20 hunter killer team members and the "Wolfpack" who showed up late and were given premission to just go an kill anyone and everyone. The HK team pretty much got stopped midway across the field and the two teams just faught it out there for a while trying to flank each other or push threw the other. Eventually the two snipers were rescued and the game was over.

We finished the day was a nice long game of tactical swingers till it got too dark for most people. There was some small confusion for some reason about the rules even though the game rules are all posted on the forum, and it's a game we always play. I guess people need to listen a little better in the staging area.

All in all it was a fun day with a nice turn out. Thanks to everyone that made it out and thanks to FAA for their support as well. Hope to see all you guys again this coming weekend.

Also on a side note, the time inbetween games will be cut down giving us more play time if I can set up the games ahead of time. That is gonna be a big factor with the early sunset in the winter months. In order for me to do that I need people to post on the game threads when the game is posted if they are going to make it or not. You don't have to post much, just a simple "yes", "no" or "maybe" will do with how many people are coming with you. Thanks
