It was actually the first cool day of airsoft since spring so it was a nice change of pace. The rain never came either so that was a plus. It was one of our smaller game days with only around 25 people coming out but it was still alot of fun.

We started the day at 13:00 which was the planned start time so that has been improving. With the new set up down time has decreased to almost a minimal of enough time to get a drink, smoke a cig and relaod ammo which is alot better then before. All in all the day was a lot of action and a lot of fun.

The first match of the day was attack and defend of the ridge. It was a shorter game since the numbers were low due to people arriving late and a few gun problems to start the day off with. It turned out to be more sneaking around then any large assaults but the ridge line fell to the attackers at the end.

We then moved onto a larger scenario type game which consisted of a small team trying to resuce a lone sniper before a larger OPFOR team could capture/kill him. The game when on for over an hour or so with both teams trying to use the same plan against each other. The OPFOR team had a head start so they split up leaving half their team to hunt the sniper and half their team to set an ambush and attempt to distract the SPEC OPS team. It was a good idea and almost worked except the SPEC OPS team had already split up and sent half their team to rescue the sniper and left a few guys behind to hunt the OPFOR team and ambush them. It turned out to be two pitch battles on different sides of the field with each team gaining and loosing land. Eventualy the OPFOR team was pushed back into the woods away from their objective giving the SPEC OPS team enough time to secure the sniper and return him to safety.

After that we qucikly moved into the next match which was supposed to be a quick on sided battle just to see how long the other team could hold out for. It was pretty much one team setting up an ambush on one of the roadways threw the woods and the other team trying to push threw and get their objective down the road. The team being ambushed knew it was a suicide mission and it was all volenteers which made it fun. What actually happend was the team being ambushed held out alot longer then anyone actually expected and the ambushers took more casualties then was planned. It was a pretty intense fire fight starting in the center of the road and spilling out into the woods on the north and south side of the roads. That match also seemed to go on for a good amount of time. At the end the ambushers were able to eliminate the other team and recover the objective by default and the game was over.

Most of the day was finished after that so a few people left bringing our numbers down to 15. We finished off the day with a game of Tactical Swingers starting off with 3 teams of 5 leading into 5 teams of 3. We played that till everyone was either out of ammo, batteries were dead or it just started getting dark with only a couple people left still playing. The game apeared to be over with one winner intil Jackal decided to show up out of the woods on his own claming victory. So the victors of that would be Paintball and Jackal...hmmm I sence a duel next Saturday.

Thanks to everyone that game out and if you were one of the guys taking pix or vids get a hold of me so I can get them posted up. See ya guys next Saturday and/or Sunday.

Trial and error my friend. I just started to get more organized as of recently, hence the time off lately. Now I'm back on track and all future games are gonna be like that. It was harder before since I was the only one trying to set up and run everything but now I have help
