I hear you about the ticks.I think this is the guy that came to Nesh with his son and another boy?As far as you not playing on a field without ticks....I don't really see that happening. There's deer that pass by or live in most of the fields we use to play airsoft. One thing I do is spray my clothes the night before.I also try not to lay on the ground that much.If this is the guy I remember the lime story. If you do play and I'm at the game you can use my spray if you forget. The Chem Plant is a nice field to play on.I hope you will take up Mike's offer when you have time. You'll like the indoor outdoor game play.

I can vouche for Permethrin since DR suggested it. I used it ONCE on my cloths (i never washed them) Last game I did not get a single tick on me. And that was 3 months after I sprayed it on. I think it is good for 6 washes and 6 wears. It is supposed to kil them on contact. I only played 2 games, so dont call me a dirt ball.

If you buy the wash stuff (you put it in the washer) it *can* last up to 12 washes, but averages out to about 9.

When I was first introduced, one of the people in my training group found a tick. The instructor grabbed it, laughed, and said "Watch this"

The tick made it 3 inches and died.

I will say that this stuff is highly toxic/poisonous before it has dried. So be careful. Once it has dried however (24 hrs give or take) its harmless to us.

What I did was I put my sets on the pourch the night before, sprayed them down and left them out there.
They were cold as hell in the mornin, but all dry and ready to wear.. I did not die.

i foreget what the brand name is called but you can get a 99 and change percent DEET repellent at most pharmacies outdoor gear stores. it comes in a little orange spray bottle and is extremely effective. just don't get it on your web gear, it dissolves nylon.

was fun deff change in the normal woods game. I did feel I cam way over prepaired kit wise so I had to step it down a little. Beside the no hit calling issue everything was fun semi fast paced and general good times . holding the building at the end was a great one and shooting at Mdot was so much fun. Really down to play again
